The Story of Sunah Oils

In the heart of London, a vision was born — not of mass-market perfumes or fleeting trends, but of something timeless. A fragrance brand that would revive the forgotten traditions of the East. A brand that wouldn’t just smell good — but feel like a spiritual return to something pure, grounded, and meaningful.

That brand became Sunah Oils.

Rooted in Sunnah, Driven by Purpose

The name wasn’t chosen lightly. “Sunah” was inspired by “Sunnah” — the way of the Prophet — who loved perfume and was known for his appreciation of musk and attar. Fragrance, in this light, wasn’t just adornment. It was a reflection of one’s inner state. The founders of Sunah Oils — two British / Middle-Eastern entrepreneurs (Yousif & Mohammed,) one hands-on and one a mentor — wanted to revive that forgotten intimacy between scent and soul.

From Vision to Vial

Launching with humble beginnings, the brand chose purity over complexity. No alcohol. No fillers. Just 100% concentrated perfume oils, sourced globally but inspired by the richness of the Arab world.

At first, Sunah Oils focused on just a few key scents — ouds, musks, ambers. Each hand-bottled. Each rooted in tradition. Slowly but surely, a small but loyal customer base grew. People resonated with the idea: elegant, unisex oils that didn’t scream — they whispered.

Growing a Global Tribe

Word spread — through TikTok videos, customer shoutouts, and loyal word-of-mouth. The monthly “Oud Giveaway” became a signature touch. Reviews came pouring in: “long-lasting,” “authentic,” “finally, something alcohol-free that smells luxurious.”

From London to Dubai, New York to Lagos — customers began recognising Sunah Oils as more than just a brand. It became a symbol of modern spiritual luxury — quiet, confident, and intentional.
